Executives of the State Administration of Baden-Württemberg went on a one-day expedition to learn from pioneers of digital transformation and exchange ideas about
“The visit to your company was very well received,” sums up Katja Schwarz from the organisation team of the Management Academy. “The participants were particularly inspired by the exciting topics in the field of mobility, the premises that offer a marketplace for communication, the concept of self-organisation and increasingly flexible team structures with plenty of room for knowledge transfer and feedback.”
Further highlights included the keynote speech and the exchange of know-how with PTV’s agile coaches. For two years, they have been supporting the organisation in developing agile processes. Both the number of coaches and the demand for support are increasing – and not only in software development. Currently, there are four agile coaches accompanying the progress.

The aim of the State Administration is to continue its digital journey based on the guiding principle of the learning journey ‘The future is always there, you just have to know where to find it’. To this end, the team will also attend another event offered by the PTV Group. It is scheduled to take place in 2019, providing deeper insight into digital transformation processes.
“The interdiciplinary exchange of knowledge is as important to us as it is to other companies,” confirms Silke Notheis, one of the agile coaches at PTV. “We are happy to be able to provide practical advice and concrete best practice guidelines.”
